SUNDAN
The inspiration behind this project was the pouf. The extra seating that brings people together in the living room. I wanted to create a piece of furniture that doesn’t take up too much space but still gives that comfortable feeling.
Sundan is a mixture between a pouf and a stool. My ambition was to give the materials an equal amount of space to emphasize the softness of the padding and the sharpness of the wood.
For materials in this prototype, I used birch and imitation sheepskin. The upholstery is filles with cold foam.
